Probably the weirdest thing that ever happened to me at my job was when a woman started making sheep noises at me while describing a shirt she wanted, she didn’t speak much english and didn’t know the word ‘sheep’. Because I was a bit surprised by this I froze for a bit. She thought I didn’t understand her so she kept making the damn sheep noise at me.
